Fake
Cashiers Check Scam
Several of our
advertisers have notifed us about suspicious emails
they have recieved (usually from overseas) where
a potential buyer wishes to purchase a car for more
than the cars value with the agreement that you will
send them the difference. The scam works by the scam
artist sending a fake cashiers check while you send
them the difference from your account.
